Return and Refund Policy

Customer satisfaction is important to me. I want you to be happy with your purchase, but I understand that there may be times when you need to return or request a refund for your order. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and how I handle returns and refunds.

1. Right to Cancel and Return (UK & EU Customers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK and EU customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods without providing a reason.

  • Cancellation Period: You have 14 days from the day you (or someone you nominate) receives the goods to cancel your order.
  • How to Cancel: To cancel your order, please contact me at pvr.fine.art@gmail.com with your order details and intention to cancel.
  • Return Period: Once you've informed me of your decision to cancel, you have an additional 14 days to return the item(s) to me.
  • Refunds: Upon receiving the returned item(s) in their original condition, I will process your refund within 14 days.

2. Conditions for Returns

  • Eligible Items: This return policy applies to both art prints and original paintings. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
    • In its original condition (no damage, alterations, or signs of wear).
    • In its original packaging, including any protective materials used.
  • Non-returnable Items: I cannot accept returns on:
    • Custom or personalized items (e.g., commissioned artwork).
    • Digital downloads.
    • Sale items (unless faulty).

If your item is damaged or defective, please contact me at pvr.fine.art@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the item to arrange a replacement or refund.

3. Return Shipping

  • If you are returning an item due to a change of mind (right to cancel), you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. I recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as I cannot guarantee that I will receive your returned item.
  • If the item is faulty or damaged upon arrival, I will cover the return shipping cost.

4. Refunds

  • Processing Time: Once I have received and inspected your returned item, I will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed, and the credit will be automatically applied to your original payment method within 14 days.
  • Shipping Costs: If you cancel your order within the 14-day cancellation period, I will refund the cost of the item(s) plus the original shipping cost for standard delivery (if any). If you chose a premium delivery service, I will only refund the standard delivery cost.

5. Damaged or Faulty Items

I take great care to ensure that your artwork arrives in perfect condition. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact me within 7 days of receiving your order with photos of the damage or defect.
  • I will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.

6. Refund Exceptions

  • I do not accept returns or provide refunds for custom, made-to-order, or personalized artwork unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
  • Returns or refunds for digital products (if applicable) are not available due to the nature of digital content.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  • First, check your bank account or payment method again.
  • Then contact your bank or credit card provider, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

8. International Returns

For international customers (outside the UK and EU), please note that return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or damaged.
